拉曼光谱方法研究三联苯

摘 要: 测量了0~5 GPa压强下三联苯分子的拉曼光谱。利用群论方法分析不同分子点群对称性拉曼振动模式活性的变化,从拉曼光谱振动模式的消失得出三联苯分子由扭曲的C2分子点群对称转变为平面的D2h点群对称。并根据拉曼振动频率随压强变化关系得出三联苯在1.3 GPa附近发生相变,通过三联苯分子中苯环-苯环伸缩振动模式提出判断三联苯平面结构的新方法,该方法可以为共轭多苯材料高压下的空间构象变化提供依据。

Abstract: High pressure Raman spectra of p-terphenyl have been measured up to 5 GPa. We analyze the Raman active change of different molecular point group symmetry using group theory, and obtain p-terphenyl molecular structure change from a twist C2 to planar D2h symmetry point group through the disappearing of Raman modes. A phase transition of p-terphenyl is obtained based on the frequency-pressure relationship at around 1.3 GPa, and a new method to identify the molecular planar structure is proposed based on phenyl ring stretching vibration of p-terphenyl, which can provide an evidence of pressure-induce structure change of conjugated polyphenyl.
